党的十四大提出了建立社会主义市场经济体制的目标，中国体育产业随后迈开了改革步伐。国办发〔2010〕22号文和国发〔2014〕46号文的发布，使中国体育产业发展的战略意义上升到国家层面。体育产业结构、技术、组织、布局方面的政策渐次启动，11大领域全面激活。本书提出了将体育产业上升为战略性新兴产业、推进体育场地进公园、优化体育人才培养与职业匹配的对接机制、探索体育与其他业态融合发展等建议。
