在虚拟世界主义理论的视阈下，开展全媒体新闻的生产与传播研究，从“生产流程”、“话语体系”和“传播效果”三个主要方面分别进行探索和分析。本文认为，在虚拟世界主义的视阈下，全媒体新闻生产呈现出开放、延展、互动的特点，强调用户在新闻生产各个环节的主动参与；新闻话语体系的语言结构、语态结构等方面都出现杂糅；新闻传播效果可能会无限放大，重要评价指标是延展性。全球传播活动应超越“吾牠关系”的对立冲突框架，跨越对外传播、国际传播的藩篱，建立人类的终极关怀意识，未来新闻业努力的方向应是旨在推动跨文化沟通与全球治理的全球新闻。
