Summary
小林一茶是江户时代最后一位俳句大家，与松尾芭蕉、与谢芜村并称日本古典俳句三大俳人。一茶早年离乡赴江户谋生，流浪半生后返乡成家。然而儿女均先于他离世，一茶的晚年寂寥又困窘，唯自然万物和俳句可寄情。一茶的俳风独树一帜，效仿前人的同时又发展出独特的变奏，继承闲寂、幽玄美学的同时，又带上了诙谐的个人标记。他厌恶世俗，反抗强者，而此类激进的情感均在落笔时全然稀释，只剩下安贫乐道、甘于品尝生之苦涩的豁达，对弱小生命的无尽悲悯，以及对世事无常的喟叹。一茶一生创作了两万多句俳句。本书从中遴选三百余句，按年代先后编排并附上原文、读音及简注，以助鉴赏。
