本书介绍了一项语料库文体学理论指 导下的比较研究，以中美两国同类组织机构的英文网站文本作为研究对象，运用语料库文体统计学方法，分析中国组织机构英文网站的语言特色。本书研究指出，异于常规英文表达的现象并非总是语言谬误，‘“全球英语” 在一定程度上丰富了英语这门语言。同时，本书归纳了语料库研究结论和语料库建设成果,为不同学段设计了教学样例，阐明了研究相关结论和语料库建设对英语课程思政教学实践的启示。本书还论述了我国组织机构通过英文网站树立国际化形象和品牌形象，对于实践“走出去”战略具有重要的国际传播意义。
