本卷为繁体竖排，收录沈祖棻历年的旧体诗词创作，分《涉江词稿》五卷、《涉江词外集》一卷、《涉江诗稿》四卷，程千帆为之笺注，汪东评点，并首次附录诗词补遗部分。沈祖棻素以词名，因其《浣溪沙》名句“有斜阳处有春愁”，有“沈斜阳”之称，词风婉约端雅，不失宋人法度，又别出机杼，写尽身世之感。其晚年不复为词，转而攻诗，语淡情真，多怀友忆旧之作，长诗《早早诗》形容外孙女早早童稚娇憨之态，系其名作。
