Summary
《资治通鉴》是北宋史学家司马光主持编撰的一部编年体通史。全文三百一十万字，由周威烈王二十三年（前403年）开始叙述，直至五代的后周世宗显德六年（959年）为止，总计一千三百余年，通过梳理历朝历代的政治、军事、经济等重大事件，描绘出先秦两汉和魏晋隋唐时代前后几十个政权的交替兴衰，也蕴含着优秀前贤的治国理政及待人处事之道。它作为中国史学史上的鸿篇巨制，兼具史料价值和借鉴意义，不但是帝王心术的教科书，也是了解和学习中国历史的必读著作。
