Summary
《蒙古旅行》是在鸟居龙藏先生的向导下，所记范围从东、西戈壁沙漠间的兴安岭到西拉木伦河流域，向北有外蒙古的喀尔喀，南到内蒙古的赤峰地区。根据鸟居龙藏本人的自序，调查的结果有测量途中人口的体质人类学数据，语言的记载，俚歌、童谣等的搜集以及遗迹、遗物的考古学调查。其中，考古学调查包括西拉沐沦河、英金河流域红山文化的石镞、石斧等遗物，鲜卑、乌丸以及辽国中京、上京（青城）等契丹的遗迹。这是一次较为久远的旅行，岁月洗练了当时的辛苦，我们去看一段尘封的记录。
