郁離子曰：「善戰者省敵，不善戰者益敵。省敵者昌，益敵者亡。夫欲取人之國，則彼國之人皆我敵也，故善省敵者不使人我敵。湯、武之所以無敵者，以我之敵敵敵也。惟天下至仁為能以我之敵敵敵，是故敵不敵而天下服。」
